Please note that Extra Curricular Activities will start on Monday 30th August. The school will be closed on Thursday 2nd September due to the National Holiday. Ballet will not start until Friday 10th September.
At Rainbow we understand that there are not many options in Hanoi for young children to play in a safe and interesting environment. We realize that our teachers and our facilities are a valuable resource in the community.
With this in mind we have designed a programme of after school activities that are open to all, whether at the school or not. Why not come along and see what’s going on at Rainbow School…..
Tumble Tots 3.30pm-4.20pm
Let your little one enjoy a gym workout in our special padded space. Designed to develop children’s agility, balance, co-ordination and climbing skills while boosting confidence and most importantly having lots of fun.
Open to all children from Toddler to 3 years

Taekwondo 3.30pm-4.20pm
Ever popular with both boys and girls, come and learn the basics of Taekwondo. Our qualified teacher is experienced at adapting this popular martial art for young children.
Open to all children from 3-6years

On Tuesdays and Fridays:
Library 3pm-5pm
Join our library and you can drop in twice a week to choose a new book to take home. Enjoy a large range of English books for all ages.
Open to all from birth to early readers
NB: Please note that only members will be allowed to browse in the library
Fee: 100,000vnd to join; 300,000vnd deposit ; FREE to borrow.
On Wednesdays:
Rhythm Time
Singing, dancing, making noise and making friends. A great chance to participate in a fun activity while at the same time building confidence, creativity and co-ordination.
Babies’ class – 11-11.45am (birth to early crawlers)
Toddlers’ class – 3.30pm-4.20pm (crawlers and early walkers)

Arts and Crafts Workshop 3.30pm-4.20pm
Join our creative workshop and let your child explore a full range of art techniques…. designing, drawing, colouring, painting, collaging, gluing, modeling, weaving, sewing… Getting to know materials and exploring shape, texture and form.
Open to all children from 3 years+.

Ballet
Do you have a daughter with a tutu in her wardrobe? If you have and you think she would like to join others learning the steps, exercises and routines of ballet bring her along to Rainbow on a Friday afternoon. We are currently running two classes:
3-4 year olds - Introduction to Ballet 3.15pm-3.45pm
A less formal class for girls who love dancing and music and who want to try ballet without having to sign up to a serious programme.

4-6 year olds - Ballet 4pm-4.50pm
A fun class to encourage those who enjoy dancing and who want to learn the steps and stretches needed to take their ballet practice further.
